Initial Requirement:
After operating the first Parsian Hotel branch in Tehran, the client had faced challenges such as temperature fluctuations, poor performance of the cooling system, and high maintenance costs.
During the development phase and construction of the second branch in Nowshahr, considering the humid and coastal climate of the region, the client sought a system that could provide stable operation under high humidity, while offering good energy efficiency and long-term reliability.
The main goal was to achieve a reliable and flexible cooling system capable of simultaneously serving guest rooms, restaurants, and hotel service areas.
Solution:
After a detailed assessment of Nowshahr’s climate and the hotel’s operational requirements, our technical team recommended modular air-cooled scroll chillers as the optimal solution.
The modular design allows future capacity expansion and ensures stable operation even if one unit experiences a failure.
Given the high humidity of Nowshahr’s coastal air, special measures were implemented to protect the equipment. The condenser fins were coated with a dedicated anti-corrosion material to prevent damage from moisture and salt in the sea air.
Additionally, the airflow paths and installation spacing between units were carefully designed to ensure adequate air circulation and effective heat dissipation throughout all seasons.
Result:
With the successful supply and installation of six modular scroll chillers, the cooling system at Parsian Hotel Nowshahr was commissioned with high stability, good efficiency, and ease of maintenance.
Having experienced operational issues in the Tehran branch, the client observed completely stable performance without efficiency loss under humid conditions in this project and expressed full satisfaction with the system’s performance.
This project stands as a successful example of smart selection of modular equipment for coastal climates and precise technical execution by our team.
